- We recommend booking an “Intro Tour”. Typically, our tour and free Cell Health Analysis lasts about 1 hour. During this time you will walk through the following process:
- 1. Personalized Assessment: One of our wellness coaches will walk you through your first visit. We always start by understanding your fitness goals, needs, and preferences. Your input will guide our recommendations.
- 2. Your Cell Health Analysis: To get a baseline for each individual’s health, we provide a Cell Health Analysis. It uses electrical sonar to measure and track key measurements of your physical health, like muscle mass, water, body fat, and more. You will get to keep the full cell health analysis, whether or not you decide to keep working with Upgrade Labs.
- 3. Facility Tour: Depending on the availability at your chosen location, you may have the chance to try relevant services and technologies and will get a tour of the facility. This hands-on experience helps you discover what works best for you.
- 4. Setting Goals & Personalized Program: We work with you to set clear and achievable wellness goals through a program personalized for you. How long is my first visit?
- Expect to spend about an hour on your first visit if you book an intro tour. We can give you a quicker tour if you know what tech you are most interested in.
Do I need a Doctor’s order?

How should I proceed with my first session?

What is your cancellation or refund policy for memberships?
- Memberships are month-to-month. We require a 30-day notice prior to cancellation.
Do you offer family memberships?

Can I freeze or pause my membership if I’m unable to attend for a period?
- Yes, you may freeze your membership for as long as needed. Each month is $15 to hold and freeze.

- A Cell Health Analysis uses bioelectrical impedance to measure and track key measurements of your physical health. Members have unlimited access to scans, which allows regular tracking of muscle mass, body fat, visceral fat, water, and systemic cellular health.
How does it feel?
- There is no feeling. Just stand still while it does the analysis.
How long is the session and how often?
- The session consists of a quick scan, followed by a detailed printout and review of your analysis.
What does this compare to?
- A Cell Health Analysis can be compared to the handheld body fat trackers at most gyms.
How often can I do a scan?
- Members have unlimited access to scans, which allows regular tracking of muscle mass, body fat, visceral fat, water, and systemic cellular health. An individual session can be purchased by non-members. See the booking link or the packages section of our website.
What should I do to prepare for the Cell Health Analysis?
- PRIOR TO TESTING:
- Hydrate well the day before.
- Use the bathroom.
- Remove all metal objects (jewelry, watches, belts, etc.), socks, pantyhose, shoes, and heavy articles of clothing.
- Ideally, stand for 5 minutes before a test.
- AVOID:
- Eating/exercising at least 4 hours beforehand.
- Consuming alcohol or caffeine at least 24 hours beforehand.
- Using lotion/ointment on your hands and feet (if possible).
- DURING TESTING:
- Follow all machine guidance.
- Remain silent.
- Stay balanced and centered.
- Stand up straight, chin up, and chest tall, as improper posture may affect test results.
- When retesting, make sure to conduct under the same conditions.
Is the scan safe for everyone?
- Safety precautions are:
- Individuals with medical implant devices such as pacemakers or essential support devices such as patient monitoring systems must not use this equipment. Safe, low-level currents will flow through the body during the test, which may cause malfunctioning of the device or endanger lives.
- Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) uses safe low-level currents, which are not harmful to the body. However, we do not recommend pregnant women test.
- Children and people with limited mobility should consult their medical provider.
